Out of Hours

We work with East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Groups to provide urgent access to out of hours medical care when your GP surgery is closed. This is available through the NHS 111 service unless you wish to visit our walk in centre or urgent care centre where no appointment is necessary.

EBPCOOH provides medical care and advice for all patients at GP practices in East Berkshire outside of their normal surgery opening hours. The out of hours service is available from 6.30pm until 8.00am Monday to Friday, all day Saturday, all day Sunday and bank holidays.

The East Berkshire out of hours GP service is available via the NHS 111 service. Dial 111 or visit 111 online to speak with an adviser who will be able to help you.

Out of Hours Clinics

If you fall ill or injure yourself and it’s not serious enough for A&E but too urgent to wait for an appointment at your doctor’s surgery, out of hours or primary care clinics may be the solution for you.

There are a range of services and facilities available at each site. Some require a pre-booked appointment which will be booked for you by a 111 operator once they have assessed your symptoms. Others you can simply walk in without an appointment and wait to be seen.
